Art Collection: Meditation on Loneliness

On June 16th, BRŪ will be showcasing “Meditation on Loneliness”- an art collection by Sean Niu.  Shot from 2020-2021, “Meditation on Loneliness” walks the viewer through the different feelings of isolation and distance as society withdraws from itself. Sean is a film photographer and screenwriter based here in Los Angeles.

On June 29th, BRU will be hosting a Book Launch for Jackson Bliss’ Counterfactual Love Stories & Other Experiments, Amnesia of June Bugs, and Dream Pop Origami! Jackson Bliss’ short stories and essays have appeared in numerous publications including The New York Times, Tin House, Santa Monica Review, African American Review, and more. He’s the winner of the 2020 Noemi Book Award in Prose and a two-time ACE/Nikaido grant recipient. Jackson currently resides in LA with his wife and their two fashionably dressed dogs.
